A Good Night

After Sammie went to bed, I found myself pouring a McEwan’s Scotch Ale. A six-pack of McEwan’s was part of my father’s day gift! Yeah, I get excited about stuff like that…

In addition to enjoying a nice pint, I have a mix of Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Arcade Fire, and R.E.M spinning in the background.

While enjoying the brew and the tunes, I’ve finished up the Chris Martin interview in Rolling Stone. It’s very interesting and I can see parts of the interview working it’s way into either a sermon or a writing.

I know I mentioned a writing about the United Methodist Church and why I’m not ashamed to be associated with it…Well, it’s coming soon. Let’s just say that it will include hot topics such as homosexuality, abortion, the death penalty, and war. Oh, and I’ll probably mention Wesley’s three rules and instructions on singing!
