Patiently Waiting
Last night, as I spent some time reading, I kept coming across messages about being patient. Every thing I read seemed to say, “Wait patiently.” And, I’ve got to be honest, that’s simply not a message I want to hear or accept. Yet, I know that it’s essential.
I’ve grown so accustomed to this information age. I expect things to happen at the push of a button. Whatever changes I desire to see take place, I want them to happen now! I’m not a big fan of bringing others along or taking all the appropriate steps. If I need to get from A to Z, I don’t want to go through all the letters in-between. I want to jump straight to the end result. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t always work that way.
So, I’m reminded of my need to patiently wait. The right things will come about at the right time. I need to calm my anxiousness and simply wait.
